I have a secret, and it’s been sitting in my pattern folder for too long: a set of spooky pixel art wall hangings, charted and ready, that need brave testers before they can go out into the world.
There are two in the set right now, with a third on the way (rough copy is on my hook as we speak). Skill-wise, these are aimed at advanced crocheters, but a determined beginner who isn’t brand new to crochet should be able to work through them just fine. Stubbornness counts as a skill here.
Here’s the honest truth about pixel and graph patterns: nobody trusts a chart until they’ve seen it worked up. I get it. A grid of colored squares asks for a leap of faith. That’s exactly why I need testers: you get the pattern free before anyone else, and if you’re willing, your finished piece becomes one of the photos that shows everyone else the chart is worth the leap. Full credit to you, always.
What testing involves: work the pattern, tell me where the chart or instructions confused you, and send a photo of your finished piece. Timeline matters on this one because these want to be on walls by October.
